We could have charged one price and promised “forever”. Many do. But photographs, videos and voice recordings take real space, and keeping them safe, backed up and instantly available takes ongoing care, every single month, for years. A small monthly fee is what makes that promise true rather than hopeful. It is the price of a coffee or two, and it is what allows a code on a stone to still work in twenty years.
If life gets in the way
If a subscription lapses, the memorial is paused, not deleted. Everything is kept safe for six months while you decide. Reactivating carries a one-time $49 fee. We will remind you well before anything is at risk.

Why is there a monthly subscription?
Photos, videos and recordings take real space, and keeping them safe, backed up and instantly available takes ongoing care. A small monthly fee is what allows us to promise that the memorial will be there when someone scans the code, year after year.
What happens if I stop paying?
The memorial is paused and cannot be viewed, but nothing is deleted straight away. You have six months to reactivate it, with everything kept exactly as it was. Reactivating carries a one-time $49 fee. If the memorial is still unpaid after six months, the account is closed and its content is permanently removed. We will remind you well before that happens.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. You can move to a larger package at any time, and add extra storage in 10 GB blocks whenever you need it.
